Where we live in Arizona City, AZ you can also find these little dudes; Burrowing Owls. They make burrows on empty lots in the neighborhood or anywhere flat and dirty. Their favorite food is dung beetle so they collect dry animal turds to scatter around their berm. This lures the beetles to their door so it’s a bit like ordering-in delivery dinner 😀
