Writing’s On The Wall
I don’t keep any sort of regular schedule. I stick these little notes on the wall so that lady knows when to holler at me.
1988 in Baltimore
This is from my 1988 art school sketchbook. I rented a $100/month space in a totally dilapidated, 3 story former firehouse building. It was a violently shitty Baltimore neighborhood. If that makes you think of ‘The Wire’ you’re spot on. Once while walking with a friend several doors up from our building, we actually dove for cover on the sidewalk because of whizzing bullets. People were running in the streets. It was maybe 2:00 in the afternoon. Baltimore is called ‘Charm City’. I have lot’s of charming, filthy B’more stories and pictures I may share on this here blog…
